As we close the chapter on 2024, it’s the perfect time to look back at the incredible journey we’ve had at ULAM LABS. This year was filled with exciting challenges, remarkable achievements, and moments that strengthened our bond as a team. Here are some of the highlights that made this year truly unforgettable.
Strengthening Industry Connections
This year, we were thrilled to establish a relationship with the Alephium Foundation and officially join the Crypto Valley Association (CVA). These collaborations underline our commitment to staying at the forefront of blockchain innovation and expanding our influence within the global blockchain community.
Tech For Good
One of our proudest achievements this year was our collaboration with Tech To The Rescue, an initiative focused on leveraging technology for social good. Together, we worked on a project with Replant World, an organization co-designing technology with Indigenous peoples to recognize their stewardship, provide access to funding, and improve reforestation outcomes that fix our climate. Through this partnership, ULAM LABS delivered blockchain technology that enables Indigenous communities to capture and verify tree planting via a mobile app.
A Renewed Focus on Our Mission, Vision and Culture
We refined how we communicate our mission and vision, emphasizing our position as Poland’s largest blockchain-focused company. At ULAM LABS, we’re dedicated to creating exceptional blockchain software, design, and audits. Our mission is clear: to lead the way in blockchain innovation and set the standard for excellence in this rapidly evolving space.
Additionally, we organized a series of culture workshops primarily aimed at defining and aligning our core values. These sessions helped ensure that everyone on the team understands and embodies the principles that drive ULAM LABS forward and make our workplace culture cohesive.
Expanding Our Marketing Reach
2024 was a significant year for our marketing efforts. We embraced digital events and launched several initiatives to share our expertise:
- Web3 Security Webinar: Our CEO and blockchain developer shared valuable insights into building reliable smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure.
- Exclusive Event with PKO BP: We hosted Łukasz from PKO and Adam from Bank Frick, bringing together over 120 specialists live!
- Expert Interviews: We welcomed high-profile guests like Philippe Mayer from BBVA, Alex Pombo from Partisia, and Milko Hensel from Maerki Baumann. These interviews offered a deep dive into the future of blockchain and banking.

Integrations
There is one trip everybody awaits each year - annual weekend getaway! In 2024, our annual integration trip took us to the picturesque Januszkowice and was a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure outside of the office.
But throughout the year we have many occasions to gather! For sure one of our favourite highlights of the year was the Ulamiada, our unique take on the classic "Familiada" game show. With custom questions tailored to our company, it sparked healthy competition and lots of laughter. The winning team was awarded our LEGO trophy, a coveted prize that remains a cherished, traveling symbol of victory within ULAM LABS.
We also organized a movie night in the cinema, played board games, had a charity auction, took part in office Olympics and many more! Also for the first time we invited the kids of our employees to join the fun and watch a movie together.
Knowledge Sharing
At ULAM LABS, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture of continuous learning. This year, we hosted several ULAM Talks, covering a diverse range of topics, eg.:
- Technical Insights: From solving millions of differential equations per second to simulating black holes in real time.
- Practical Workshops: Tips on protecting your eyesight in a digital age.
- Cultural Understanding: How to connect and communicate with Gen Z.
These talks not only deepened our expertise but also reflected our commitment to knowledge sharing across various disciplines.
Building Blockchain Community
We took active steps to develop the local blockchain community. This year, we organized several meetups in Wrocław, creating a platform for blockchain enthusiasts to connect, learn, and collaborate. Staying Active Together
We’re proud of our active and energetic team! This year, we participated in Bieg Firmowy, running together to support a good cause. Over the summer, we took on the Active Summer Challenge, collectively covering over 6,000 kilometers! We’re so proud of everybody who participated in these initiatives.
