How it all started

MediShout mobile app reporting an operational issue

Hospital teams were managing operational issues - broken equipment, missing supplies, delayed sample collection - through a patchwork of emails, phone calls, and manual spreadsheets. The result: slow response times, limited audit trail, and no visibility into recurring problems across departments or sites.

MediShout needed a platform that could work at NHS scale: trusted by clinical staff on the floor, integrated with existing supply chains, and robust enough to pass hospital IT security reviews.

Path to clinical-grade solution

Over five years, we migrated MediShout from a prototype to a production-grade system running on Django, Kubernetes, and Azure scaling from proof-of-concept to 200 hospitals without breaking compliance or clinical trust.

We didn't just build the product. We grew with it.

MediShout's founders were clinicians, not developers. They needed a team that could stay - through a seed round, through a Series A, through NHS security reviews and 10× scale. Five years later, we're still that team.

    We embedded MediShout's clinical founders into sprint reviews. Every workflow was validated against real hospital use, not just product requirements. This drove adoption rates that matter: 10,000 staff use it daily.

    We designed the MediShout system with compliance at its core to minimize risk exposure and simplify compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.

    • Dual-Database Architecture (separation of sensitive data) - Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI) are stored in a dedicated, isolated database, separate from general operational data
    • End-to-end encryption that secures data both at rest and in transit
    • Role-based access control ensuring users access only the data necessary for their role

    Healthcare environments don't pause for deployments. We ran automated testing pipelines and rolling updates that kept the platform stable across 200 hospitals with zero downtime during scaling from 10 to 70 sites in under 12 months.
